My plan involved 28 aligners - which is roughly just over a year. One of the aspects that sold me on this treatment was being able to take the aligners out if need be. However, after a few weeks of wearing them, I realised the aligners were virtually invisible and that I did not have to take them out when I was speaking in public (conferences, weddings, etc).
I have to say the Invisalign aligners are very comfortable and have made a massive difference within a few months! The process is quite convenient and relatively painless. It took me some time getting used to taking the aligners out every time I wanted to eat something, but I quickly got used to it. The aligners are almost invisible - I have had them on for months and people are surprised when I tell them I have had braces since January.
I also wanted to say that the team at Artiste Studios - L'Orthodontiste are friendly and efficient and it makes such a difference to have a medical professional explain exactly what's going on and what my treatment choices are. The orthodontist has been brillant and the experience he has with the Invisalign braces/technology makes a real difference. I am always greeted with a friendly smile upon my arrival.
