Preferred Membership
Terms & Conditions
It is a condition of Membership that Members (you) agree to pay the fees referred to hereafter and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These specific Terms & Conditions for Preferred Membership may be revoked, altered or added to from time to time by Artiste Studios (we), without prior notification to Members. The current version of the Preferred Membership Terms & Conditions can be viewed at www.artistestudios.com/membership

This is an annual membership plan. You will be invoiced for services utilised and discounts given on treatment pro-rated based on the benefits if you cancel within the membership year

Certain promotional membership plans shall be paid in advance. Any joining fee or prepayments will not be refunded if you cancel prior to expiration of your membership plan.

All Membership plans must be paid by Direct Debit or Credit Card CNP Payment and a Credit Agreement must be completed before Membership of the Practice can be accepted.

We require you to setup Direct Debit Instructions through our Direct Debit partner. All Direct Debits are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Please note that some banks and building societies do not accept Direct Debit instructions for some types of accounts. You may be required to pay an administration fee if other payment methods are utilised.

Payments shall be automatically processed monthly on or around the 1st of each calendar month by Direct Debit or Credit Card CNP transaction.

Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable, unless there is a written agreement to the contrary.

Membership shall commence on receipt of completed and signed forms by the Clinical Manager. Membership will run for an Initial Period of twelve months from the 1st day of the next month unless otherwise stated. After the Initial Period, cancellation will require a Notice Period of three months to Artiste Studios, other than if a Member wishes to upgrade to an enhanced level of Membership or add-on. For avoidance of doubt, Clause 2 above applies when you cancel your membership even if you have fulfilled the Initial Period and Notice Period.

Request for cancellation or upgrades to membership must be made in writing and addressed to the Clinical Manager at the Practice. Email requests are acceptable if it is sent from your usual email account. No refunds of that month's fees shall be made and any and all other sums due to the Practice must be paid prior to the termination of the Membership.

The notice period of three months will commence from the first day of the month after the month in which notification of cancellation is received. The Clinical Manager will confirm receipt of the notification and the official cancellation date within 5 business days of receipt. If Members do not receive confirmation of cancellation within 5 business days they should inform the Clinical Manager immediately as it will always remain the Member's responsibility to ensure that cancellation notices have been received.

Payments will be taken as agreed for the membership or treatment plan. This can be a verbal agreement with your dentist unless you request that the treatment plan is communicated in writing. No billing statement will be sent to members. We may send a statement if there is balance owing.

Members must give written notice to the Practice of any change of address or Credit Card information. Failing such notice, all communications shall be presumed to have been received within 5 days.

Members will be advised of any increase in Membership fees with a three month notice.

Members will be charged a late or failed appointment fee at the full value of the session for any appointment for which they do not attend without the standard notice of cancellation or rescheduling with the Practice. For avoidance of doubt, the full value of the clinical time and preparation will apply to any free assessments or sessions.

An administration fee will be charged to a Member whose monthly direct debit charge / CNP transaction is rejected. Additionally, any payments or amounts due which are not made on the date that they become due shall attract interest at the rate of 4% above the base rate of HSBC Bank or 12% per annum, whichever is higher, from the date the payment is due until the date that it is received by Artiste Studios. Members indemnify Artiste Studios against all expenses and legal costs (on a solicitor client basis) incurred by Artiste Studios in recovering overdue amounts.

A Member can only hold one type of Membership at any one time.

Partner or Family Membership is available to any two adults in a long-term relationship with their children living at the same address. Reasonable evidence of joint residence may be required.

Child Members can only be accepted with consent of and credit agreement with a parent or legal guardian. A child is defined as any person under the age of 18. Child Member status will change to adult status when a child reaches 18 at which stage they will be required to become a full Member and complete a Membership Application Form in their own right.

At all times, Artiste Studios reserves the right to refuse or cancel an application for Membership from any applicant at its sole discretion.

Save as explicitly set out in these Terms & Conditions all warranties, conditions and other terms (whether implied by statute or otherwise) are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Contract.

Subject to anything to the contrary in these Terms & Conditions, Artiste Studios will not be liable to the Client in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise for any: a. economic loss of any kind (including, without limitation, loss of use, profit, anticipated profit, business, contracts, overhead recovery, revenue or anticipated savings); or b. any damage to the Client's reputation or goodwill; or c. any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.

Subject to the provision of these Terms & Conditions the Practice's total liability in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the performance of services in accordance with the Membership will be limited to the price paid or payable in respect of the Membership.

A person who is not a party to the Contract will have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions will be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. The provisions in these Terms and Condtions shall survive the termination or expiry (for whatever reason) of the Member's membership.
